As a Foreperson, you will supervise crews and ensure high safety and quality standards on road construction projects. With a minimum of five years in road construction, you’ll assign tasks, conduct safety inspections, and collaborate closely with the Project Manager to optimize efficiency and productivity. This role emphasizes effective communication and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and supervise crews on various projects
• Assign tasks and communicate clear project expectations
• Conduct safety meetings and inspections regularly
• Collaborate with the Project Manager on planning
• Prepare daily production and costing reports
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred
• Class 3 driver’s license with clean abstract
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in road construction
• Knowledge of guardrail and signage installation
• Familiarity with HCSS costing software is an asset
