Position: Side Hoe Operator – Infrastructure (Water & Sewer)
Location: Spruce GroveThompson Construction Group has immediate openings for Water and Sewer Side-Hoe Operators supporting our Infrastructure division’s land development and subdivision projects in the Edmonton area.
Responsibilities:
Operate equipment safely and efficiently on water and sewer projects.Excavate trenches for water, sanitary, and storm sewer installations.Assist crews with pipe installation, bedding, backfilling, and site grading.Participate in daily safety meetings and adhere to all company safety policies and proceduresReport all incidents, near misses, and equipment damage to site supervisionMaintain effective communication with supervisors and crew membersWork collaboratively as part of a construction crew to meet project timelinesQualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Side-Hoe operatorReliable transportation to and from siteAbility to work extended hours, including up to 12 hours per day, Monday to SaturdayValid Class 5 Driver’s License is considered an assetAbility to perform physically demanding work in an outdoor construction environmentAdditional Information:
