Position: Estimator for Major Projects
Join our Edmonton office as an Estimator, responsible for major construction projects exceeding $50 million. Apply your expertise in cost estimation, subcontractor pricing, and project scheduling to deliver top-tier results.

As a critical member in our Edmonton (Ellwood) office, you will lead estimating efforts for large-scale projects. This role requires a solid five-plus years of hands-on experience and thorough knowledge of estimating techniques. You'll work closely with clients, subcontractors, and team members while preparing preliminary budgets and conducting detailed reviews.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide accurate estimates and costing for major projects

• Solicit and analyze pricing from subcontractors and suppliers

• Conduct risk assessments and identify opportunities

• Develop preliminary project schedules for pricing activities

• Lead detailed estimate reviews and tender submissions

Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering or related field

• 5+ years of estimating experience on projects over $50 million

• Knowledge of estimating software like Timberline and On-screen Takeoff

• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel

• Capability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
