Position: Commercial Safety Coordinator - Delnor Construction
Take charge of safety at Delnor Construction as a Commercial Safety Coordinator. This field-based role emphasizes safety management within construction projects located in Edmonton.

In this position, reporting to the Manager of Health & Safety, you will be responsible for managing the health and safety framework at various job sites. Your work will involve collaborating with Superintendents and Project Managers, ensuring site inspections, and implementing safety practices. A minimum of five years' experience in commercial construction safety is essential, along with valid NCSO and First Aid certifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive safety inspections and hazard assessments

• Assist with implementation of corrective actions on-site

• Lead safety training and internal audits

• Develop and maintain safe work procedures

• Collaborate on emergency response planning

Requirements:

• Minimum five years of active experience in safety coordination

• NCSO and First Aid certifications required

• Strong communication and leadership skills

• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel

• Audit experience preferred
