In this role, the Safety Manager will partner with the project team to uphold the Corporate Safety Program and Site-Specific Safety Plan, ensuring all team members adhere to safety regulations. You will leverage your communication and leadership skills to enhance safe work practices. The position starts at the main office and later moves to Fort Saskatchewan.
Key Responsibilities:
• Direct and support HSE initiatives across the project
• Build relationships to influence safety practices
• Review safety reports and inform project leadership
• Assess potential risks and develop mitigation strategies
• Lead safety training programs for the project team
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety or related field
• 7+ years of construction safety experience
• CRSP or CSP certification desired
• Valid First Aid with AED certification required
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
