Mining Project Estimation Lead

Stantec is on the lookout for an experienced Mining Project Estimation Lead to oversee cost estimation for significant mining ventures. The role offers remote flexibility and occasional travel.

In the Senior Estimator position, you will be responsible for leading estimation teams to formulate multi-discipline cost estimates across extensive mining projects.

Your role will include collaboration with construction and design specialists, ensuring estimates align with project milestones while maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate cost estimates across disciplines

• Develop execution plans and labor-force work plans

• Compile and analyze estimating information from teams

• Interface regularly with management and clients

• Prepare comprehensive deliverables for cost estimates

Requirements:

• 10+ years of relevant estimating and construction experience

• Extensive knowledge of mining and mineral processing

• Advanced skills with estimating tools and software

• Educational background in Engineering or Construction Management

• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities
