This 8-month Engineering Student role allows you to work alongside a Senior Estimator, gaining invaluable experience in construction estimating. You will engage in quantity surveys, learn PCL’s estimating protocols, and undertake drafting duties that support our ongoing projects. Your work will directly influence our construction efficiency and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Grasp and utilize PCL's estimating systems

• Participate in quantity surveys with lead estimators

• Complete related drafting and design tasks

• Deliver quantities of major items to purchasing

• Engage in bid document control and assignments

Requirements:

• Strong interest in construction and estimating

• Previous field experience is beneficial

• Competent in software applications for drafting

• Must have a vehicle for reaching the Nisku office

• Ready to learn and build on existing estimating skills
