Take charge as a Lead Civil Estimator at Aplin, focusing on self-performed earthworks and civil infrastructure. This role involves strategic estimating on projects ranging from $1M to over $100M.
As a Senior Estimator with Aplin, you will manage estimates for various industrial and municipal projects requiring expertise in earthworks, utilities, and concrete scopes. You will develop self-perform estimates using tools like B2W and Bluebeam while working closely with subcontractors and project teams to create competitive estimates and winning bid strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead estimating efforts for diverse civil infrastructure projects
• Develop detailed self-perform estimates using various software
• Prepare quantities and execution strategies for projects
• Coordinate pricing with subcontractors across deliveries
• Collaborate on bid strategies with cross-functional teams
Requirements:
• Civil Engineering degree or related technical training
• 8-10 years of estimating experience on heavy civil projects
• Advanced knowledge of estimating strategies and construction contracts
• Ability to lead and mentor estimating teams effectively
• Experience in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
