The Concrete Finisher role suits candidates with 5+ years of concrete construction experience. Work includes forming, reinforcement tying, concrete placement, smoothing, joint cutting, and waterproofing. Candidates must understand the place-finishing sequence and material hardening.
Key Responsibilities:- Construct forms and tie reinforcement for concrete work
- Place, spread, and smooth concrete accurately
- Use finishing tools expertly throughout concrete placement
- Cut expansion joints and trowel concrete edges
- Apply waterproofing and sealant to concrete surfaces
- Five-plus years of concrete construction experience
- Experience building sidewalks, ramps, slabs, walls, and pads
- Valid Class 5 driver's license and reliable transportation
- Clean driver's abstract and valid CSTS-2020 with WHMIS
- First aid and additional training certificates considered assets
