Become a Photography Assistant at the Otipemisiwak Métis Government, located in Edmonton. Engage in diverse photography tasks while supporting communications through visual storytelling.
In this full-time temporary role, you will contribute from May to December. Your responsibilities will include capturing high-quality images, managing photographic setups, and collaborating extensively with teams to enhance visual communications. This position allows you to utilize your artistic and technical skills effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Capture event and promotional images for use
• Manage setup and maintenance of photographic equipment
• Aid in specialty photo shoot planning and execution
• Process, edit, and organize photographic assets
• Help maintain an organized stock photo library
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in photography or visual arts
• 2-3 years of professional photography experience preferred
• Familiarity with Adobe software tools
• Hands-on experience with photography equipment
• Knowledge of Métis culture and issues
