Motion Visual Designer Affirm

Shape Affirm customer experiences through motion, animation, and visual storytelling as a Visual Designer II working remotely within the country of employment.

This Visual Designer II works across product and brand, creating cohesive experiences throughout the customer journey. You will apply illustration, UX thinking, and design systems across in-app surfaces, web, email, lifecycle communications, and product marketing. The work emphasizes clarity, accessibility, performance, and purposeful storytelling.

• Design motion-forward experiences across product and communication surfaces
• Create animations, motion studies, illustrations, iconography, and interaction patterns
• Own visual projects from storyboarding through production and implementation
• Develop interaction concepts, prototypes, and high-fidelity product designs
• Prepare accessible, performant production-ready assets and specifications

• Three or more years of professional design experience
• Portfolio showing motion, interaction, illustration, and visual storytelling
• Knowledge of animation principles and motion-design software
• Mastery of Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and After Effects
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and production constraints
