Mercor connects creative and technical talent with leading AI research labs. As a Journalism Specialist, you will evaluate media content for accuracy, tone, and clarity. You will also help improve AI outputs through structured editorial feedback and collaboration with researchers.
Key Responsibilities:
Edit AI-generated news articles and media content
Design journalism prompts, scenarios, and evaluation rubrics
Fact-check written content using journalistic standards
Provide structured feedback on AI output quality
Simulate editorial workflows with AI researchers
Requirements:
Three-plus years in journalism or media
Strong editorial judgment and factual accuracy
Excellent writing and communication skills
Familiarity with investigative, opinion, and breaking news
Journalism or communications degree preferred
Bring newsroom experience, precise editing, and journalistic standards to Mercor’s AI content evaluation work.
