Provide outstanding customer service at the Edmonton Police Service as a Customer Service Representative in the Police Information Check Unit. Focus on processing applications and supporting applicants every day.
This full-time temporary role will last until May 30, 2027. You will accurately process police information check applications and issue certificates, while handling inquiries via phone, in-person, or email. Your responsibility includes cash handling for various services and performing general office duties, ensuring seamless service delivery in the unit.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process police information checks and certificates efficiently
• Handle customer inquiries in person and electronically
• Collect and process fees for services and invoices
• Perform general office tasks, including mail distribution
• Assist with civil fingerprinting and alarm permits
Requirements:
• Completion of 12th grade with business-related courses
• Minimum of two years diversified word processing experience
• One year cash handling experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
