• Direct or respond to telephone inquiries and written requests, including processing changes directly into the computer system, applying proper underwriting standards, and assessing risk according to binding requirements.
• Resolve product and service problems by clarifying member/client complaints, determining cause, selecting and explaining the best solution, expediting correction, following up to ensure resolution, and making recommendations to management as required.
• File documents and records of insurance transactions and maintain and update current rate manuals for all markets, including new coverage announcements. Maintain a comprehensive log and diary system and flag contentious issues for management discussion as required.
• Complete endorsements, renewals, rewrites, remarkets and cancellations on applicable systems as required.
• Review renewals from alternate markets carriers and send supporting documentation to member/client.
• Assist other service team members by coaching and counseling employees on alternate market availability, rules, and guidelines.
• Provide quality service while adhering to customer service standards and keeping information confidential to protect operations.
• Attract potential members/clients by answering questions, providing information regarding products and services, obtaining exit dates, and meeting or surpassing exit date objectives to increase sales potential.
• Perform other duties within competence as assigned.

• An AIC license.
• Working towards a CAIB 1 designation is considered an asset.
• Ability to communicate both verbally and in written form in French is required.
• Three years’ experience in personal lines, automobile and property insurance.
• Exceptional communication skills and the demonstrated ability to deal effectively with all levels of internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to handle customer issues in a pleasant and positive manner.
• Superior time management, project management and organizational skills to manage competing priorities.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications; knowledge of TAM and Portal is an asset.
• French communication ability is considered an asset.

• General call centre environment.
• Ability to work evenings and Saturdays is required.

Salary Range:
Min: $52,454 to $72,096
