Dental Assistant

Duties- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations, ensuring cleanliness and organization
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including passing instruments, suctioning, and providing patient comfort
- Take and develop dental X-rays as directed by the dentist
- Perform basic laboratory tasks such as pouring and trimming models, fabricating temporary crowns, and taking impressions
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
- Maintain accurate patient records and update medical history as necessary
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment following infection control protocols
- Manage inventory of dental supplies and order current supplies as needed
- Completion of an accredited dental assistant program
- X-ray certification required
- CPR certification preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well with patients and dental team members
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a quick-paced environment
$24.00-$26.00 per hour
