About the Role
We are looking for an Orthodontic Financial Coordinator to join our progressive, state‑of‑the‑art practice. This permanent, full‑time opportunity is distributed across our five modern Edmonton locations. We are looking for a self‑motivated, organized, and detail‑oriented professional who excels at building meaningful connections with patients, parents, and team members alike. The ideal candidate brings a positive attitude and professional commitment and thrives in a friendly team‑oriented environment.
Responsibilities & Duties
Partner with Orthodontic Treatment Coordinators to coordinate patient treatment plans and payment
Review and start treatment contracts with patients, including consent forms, direct billing for insurance, and financial agreements
Process insurance claims
Organize patient financial records
Address patient questions and concerns about financial contracts
Follow‑up with patients and insurance companies
Work with Accounts Receivable and collections
Review financial reports
Skills & Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent
Proficient in English, both written and verbal
Computer proficient; able to learn new software quickly. Ortho2
Edge and Curve Hero are used at our clinic
Experience in reception or administrative work, preferably in a dental setting
Experience as a Dental Financial coordinator is an asset
Experience with Government Insurance (NIHB and ADSC) is an asset
Experience working with medical and dental insurance is an asset
Excellent customer service skills both in person and over the phone
Available to work during applicable business hours
Willing to travel between multiple clinic locations within the Edmonton Area
