Duties
- Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations, including scaling and polishing teeth.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Document patient treatment plans and progress in Dentrix software.
- Assist in orthodontic procedures and provide support in pediatric dentistry when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
- Provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive patient experience.
- Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to deliver comprehensive care.
Experience
- Familiarity with Dentrix software is highly desirable.
- Experience in orthodontics or pediatrics is a plus.
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as effective communication with diverse patient populations is essential.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry.
