About The Opportunity
Southwood Dental is seeking an experienced Associate Dentist to cover a maternity leave for an associate. This is an excellent opportunity to step into an established, high‑demand patient base with immediate production potential. The clinic operates in a fast‑paced, emergency‑driven environment with strong patient flow and consistent scheduling. This is an ideal role for a confident clinician seeking strong earning potential.

Schedule
The clinic operates on a rotational schedule: 6‑day / 4‑day rotation, clinic hours 9:00am – 9:00pm. Split shifts typically: 9:00am – 3:00pm, 3:00pm – 9:00pm, 1:00pm – 9:00pm.

Clinic Overview

Approximately 3 DDS chairs allocated.

Team & Structure

3 DDS onsite

2 RDHs (lighter hygiene model)

RDA support always available

Long‑tenured team with strong workflow efficiency

Practice Environment

High‑volume, emergency‑focused model

Consistently busy with strong patient demand

Efficient, production‑driven workflows

Support available from partner for more complex procedures as needed

Clinical Scope

Bread‑and‑butter dentistry

Basic endodontics

Basic oral surgery

Crown and bridge

Fillings, extractions, and emergency care

Additional Notes

Wisdom teeth extraction supported by partner if needed.

Panoramic imaging

Digital X‑ray

Videa Health (AI diagnostics)

Minimum 1–2+ years of experience preferred

Confident working independently

Comfortable in a fast‑paced, high‑volume setting

Strong clinical judgment, especially in emergency care

Adaptable and resilient with a positive, professional attitude

About You

Graduate from an accredited DDS/DMD Program or successful completion of the National Dental Examining Board of Canada (NDEB) Equivalency Process

Registered and in good standing with provincial licensing requirements

Valid CPR certification
