Dental Hygienist; Stony Plain Alberta

Parkland Dental Associates is a modern, patient-focused dental clinic in the heart of Stony Plain, Alberta. Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional care in a warm and friendly environment. We're currently seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our clinical team.

As an RDH at Parkland, you’ll play a key role in helping patients achieve and maintain optimal oral health. This is a dynamic position that blends clinical expertise with compassionate care in a collaborative, technologically advanced setting.

• Conduct dental hygiene assessments, including periodontal charting and oral cancer screenings
• Provide scaling, root planing, and polish treatments
• Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide (if certified)
• Apply sealants and fluoride treatments
• Take and maintain accurate patient records, including digital radiographs, iTero Scans and intraoral photos
• Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and personalized home care routines
• Collaborate with dentists for diagnosis and treatment planning
• Ensure operatory is clean, stocked, and prepared for each patient

• Build trust and rapport with patients, creating a calm and welcoming environment
• Clearly explain treatments, procedures, and after-care instructions
• Support continuity of care through effective communication with team members
• Maintain professionalism, empathy, and attention to detail at every visit

• Registered and in good standing with the Alberta College of Dental Hygienists (ACDH)
• Local anesthesia certification preferred
• Familiarity with dental software (Curve Hero experience is an asset)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
