Associate Dentist – Riverbend Family Dental Care (Edmonton, AB)

Riverbend Family Dental Care is seeking a motivated and collaborative Associate Dentist to join our established, family‑oriented practice in Edmonton. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive team environment with strong mentorship and the ability to grow your own patient base.

About the Opportunity

Schedule:

Wednesday, Thursday, Friday + 2 Saturdays per month.

Opportunity to work independently on designated Saturday days.

About the Practice

Riverbend Family Dental Care is a well‑established, multi‑generational practice with a solid reputation in the community. The clinic has recently undergone team rebuilding with a renewed focus on collaboration, patient experience, and long‑term growth.

  • 9 operatories (2 dedicated DDS chairs, 4 hygiene chairs)
  • Fully digital and paperless environment (Dentrix PMS)
  • Advanced technology including panoramic imaging; future CBCT planned
  • Multicultural patient base in a desirable, accessible Edmonton location with on‑site parking
  • Stable, long‑tenured hygiene team and growing associate base
Clinical Scope

The practice supports a broad scope of dentistry and offers opportunities to expand skills.

  • General (bread‑and‑butter) dentistry
  • Basic endodontics
  • Invisalign
  • Selective advanced oral surgery (including impacted third molars)
  • Selective complex endodontics (including molars and retreatments)
  • Fixed prosthodontics (crowns, bridges, implant‑supported prostheses)
  • Removable prosthodontics (complete and partial dentures)
  • Selective periodontics (surgical debridement, socket grafting, crown lengthening, gingivectomy, frenectomy)

Preferred (but not required):

  • Advanced oral surgery (including impacted third molars)
  • Complex endodontics
  • Removable prosthodontics (dentures)
  • No sedation; open to up Nitrous if candidate desires to add to their practice

  • Mentorship for clinical development and case support from Dr. Bomi and Dr. Jani
  • Strong hygiene and RDA support
  • Patient flow and growth opportunity; build and grow your own schedule and patient base
  • Current patient demand tied to availability, including evenings and weekends

About You
  • Graduate of an accredited DDS/DMD program or have successful completion of the NDEB equivalency process
  • Registered and in good standing with provincial licensing requirements
  • Valid CPR certification
