Registered Dental Assistant

Become a critical part of the Lakewood Dental Centre team as a Registered Dental Assistant. Located in Edmonton, you’ll provide high-quality care in a patient-focused environment.

In this vital position, you will assist in preparing treatment areas, taking X-rays, and ensuring all instruments are sterile for safe dental practices. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare dental treatment rooms and materials for procedures

• Assist during treatments and ensure patient comfort

• Conduct dental X-rays and digital imaging as necessary

• Follow IPAC standards for instrument sterilization

• Update charts and educate patients on post-treatment care

Requirements:

• Must be a Registered and/or Certified Dental Assistant

• Previous dental assisting experience preferred

• Authorized to work legally in Canada

• Understanding of safety and regulatory guidelines

• Ethical conduct in all patient interactions
