In this permanent, full-time position, you will assist during examinations, manage orthodontic emergencies, and educate patients on oral hygiene practices. We seek a detail-oriented, compassionate individual keen on delivering exceptional care while fostering strong connections with patients and team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for dental examinations and assist the Orthodontist

• Take precise diagnostic records, including digital X-rays

• Place and remove orthodontic appliances with care

• Educate patients on appliance care and oral hygiene

• Manage orthodontic emergencies effectively and efficiently

Requirements:

• Completion of an accredited Dental Assistant Program

• Active RDA registration in Alberta

• Successful completion of the Orthodontic Module

• Current CPR / Basic Life Support certification

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
