Registered Dental Assistant - Pediatrics

We are looking for a Full-Time Registered Dental Assistant to join our office (on average 32-40 hrs/week). The successful applicant must be self-motivated, organized, detail oriented, caring and a compassionate individual to connect with team members, parents and patients.

It is also important that this person possesses a positive attitude with professional commitment and is friendly and out-going in a team-oriented environment.

(The applicant must meet the following requirements)

• High School diploma
• Completion of an approved Dental Assistant program and certification as a Dental Assistant (RDA)
• Certified in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Must be computer proficient and able to learn new software easily (softwares used in our office are Curve Hero and Ortho2 Edge)
• Excellent communication skills
• Available to work during applicable business hours
• Ability to work well with children of all ages
• Willingness to be cross-trained between pediatric and orthodontic procedures
• Willing to travel to multiple offices in the city

• Pediatric Dentistry assistant duties (duties may also include working in surgical centre environments)
• Sterilization and infection control

• RDA License
• Proficient in English
