We are searching for an organized and detail-oriented individual who excels in patient interactions. In this role, you will assist during examinations, manage emergencies, and ensure operational efficiency while prioritizing patient comfort and understanding.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and assist during dental examinations with the Orthodontist
• Take clinical photographs and digital X-rays accurately
• Provide guidance on orthodontic appliance care
• Handle orthodontic emergencies with care and professionalism
• Maintain cleanliness and sterilization of instruments and tools
Requirements:
• Completion of an accredited Dental Assistant Program
• Registered as a Dental Assistant in Alberta
• Certification in CPR / Basic Life Support required
• Proficient in written and verbal English
• Previous experience in orthodontics preferred
