Position: Architectural Technologist / Draftsperson
Job Overview
We are an established architectural drafting and design firm in Windermere, Edmonton, seeking a Senior Architectural Draftsperson / Architectural Technician to join our team. This role is focused on residential design and construction drawing production in a fast‑paced, professional environment.

This is an in‑office position only. Reliable transportation and daily commute to Windermere is required.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and revise architectural drawings and permit packages

Produce permit‑ready drawings for homes and residential developments

Coordinate with engineers, consultants, and clients

Ensure drawings meet Alberta building codes and municipal requirements

Support residential design development and project documentation

Communicate clearly with team members and stakeholders

Work Experience

Required:

3–5 years of experience in the Canadian residential construction industry

Strong experience producing residential construction drawings

Solid understanding of floor plans, elevations, sections, and space planning

Knowledge of Alberta/Canadian building codes and construction documentation

Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit

Nice to have:

Experience with Sketch Up

Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
