The City of Edmonton is seeking an enthusiastic student enrolled in architectural technology, civil engineering, interior design, or related fields for a full-time co-op. You will support workspace planning within the Integrated Infrastructure Services Department, aiding effective space utilization and design. Your responsibilities will also encompass office furniture management and vendor relations to create functional environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Aid with workspace assessments and project documentation
• Assist in stakeholder relations and functional program creation
• Manage office furniture requests and site meetings
• Provide design support through space planning
• Assist with the workspace booking system and vendor management
Requirements:
• Enrollment in a relevant diploma co-op program
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Google Workspace
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to take precise measurements and visual data
• Valid Alberta driver's license is an asset
