We have an opportunity in our Edmonton office for a Junior Interior Designer to join our team.

The Opportunity:

We have an exciting opportunity in our Edmonton office for a Junior Interior Designer
. Using your Revit skills, you will work closely with the project team to complete interior design and technical assignments while gaining experience.

Here’s what you’ll be doing at Kasian:

Assist with schematic design, design development, and programming under supervision from more experienced team members

Prepare design and technical working drawings

Prepare hand sketches, perspectives, and coloured renderings in 2D and 3D

Prepare colour and material boards, and presentation documents

Contribute to design, production, and visioning meetings

Attend meetings and communicate with clients alongside an intermediate or senior designer as required

Meet and develop relationships with product reps

Provide product research and selection

Here’s what you bring to Kasian:

Diploma or Degree in Interior Design with 0 to 4 years of professional design experience

Proficient with graphics software (Sketch Up, AutoCAD, Adobe Suite);
Revit experience considered an asset

Interior design skills, creativity, and knowledge of design principles and elements

Construction knowledge

Excellent communication, time management, and teamwork skills

Demonstrated graphic presentation skills

Desire to learn and willingness to take direction
