In this crucial role, you will report directly to the Production Manager, creating essential designs and ensuring that all architectural and structural elements meet established codes. Your duties will range from reviewing modification requests to preparing documentation for building permits. Strong knowledge in AutoCAD and Revit is vital for accuracy in your tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Confirm that building codes and requirements are followed
• Modify existing house plans based on client requests
• Create and maintain documentation packages and drawings
• File applications for building permits efficiently
• Collaborate with engineers on structural certification processes
Requirements:
• Diploma or certificate in Architectural Technology
• Experience with AutoCAD and Revit software
• Strong communication and active listening skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
• Detail-oriented with experience in residential drafting (preferred)
