Intermediate Architectural Technologist

Position: Intermediate Architectural Technologist at Stantec
Become an integral part of Stantec as an Intermediate Architectural Technologist based in Edmonton, AB. This role combines technical expertise in architecture with hands-on construction site responsibilities.

At Stantec, you'll support complex construction projects from beginning to end, collaborating closely with architects and engineers.

Your role will include significant site presence, ensuring compliance with contract documents and design intent. Strong communication skills will be crucial for effective interaction with various stakeholders and project team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain on-site presence for about 50% of working time

• Conduct site reviews and document construction progress

• Prepare detailed site reports and records

• Coordinate architectural requirements with consultants

• Foster relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of architectural technology experience

• Proven experience on complex Design-Build projects

• Eligibility for Government of Canada Secret Security Clearance

• Willingness to travel to project sites as needed

• Strong understanding of construction processes and documentation
