Apply CAD drafting expertise to precast construction drawings with Amrize, supporting accurate fabrication and installation documentation. Work across project teams to meet customer schedules.
As a CAD Technician/Technologist, you will interpret contract drawings, specifications, addenda, written documents, and oral instructions. You will prepare construction and production shop drawings for precast concrete components using AutoCAD drafting techniques. The role collaborates with Sales, Project Management, and Operations while maintaining drawing accuracy and completion.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare precast construction and production shop drawings
- Develop hardware details, material lists, and required documentation
- Lay out drawings using company standards and practices
- Retrieve project information to verify drawing accuracy
- Archive project documents according to Amrize policy
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two or three years of technician or technology training
- At least three years of construction industry experience
- Proficiency drafting construction and shop drawings with AutoCAD
- Ability to interpret specifications and architectural drawings
