Advance your career as a Pathologist in an urban hospital. Use your medical degree to conduct analyses, diagnose diseases, and drive clinical consultations.
This position requires a degree in medicine, dentistry, or a related field, with a minimum of 1 year of experience. The Pathologist will diagnose diseases and perform laboratory analyses, involvement in medical research, and manuscript preparation. Collaborating with a team, you will supervise lab operations and ensure effective diagnostics.
Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose illnesses and physiological disorders accurately
• Conduct laboratory analyses and manage lab staff
• Order and oversee diagnostic testing processes
• Prepare research findings for presentations
• Consult with physicians on diagnostic results
Requirements:
• Medical degree required (dentistry/veterinary medicine accepted)
• 1-2 years of experience in pathology
• Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada necessary
• Specialty training in anatomy or general pathology
• Strong communication skills and ability to work under tight deadlines
