We invite applications from qualified physicians to join our East Edmonton Urgent Care Centre as locums. This role involves working predominantly overnight and weekend shifts in a fully-equipped, computerized environment. The position offers a pathway to a Clinical Academic appointment linked to the University of Alberta, enhancing both practice and education.
Key Responsibilities:
• Respond to urgent care cases during assigned shifts
• Execute patient management using Connect Care EMR
• Collaborate with students and residents in a teaching environment
• Maintain current licensure with the CPSA
• Execute patient care with efficiency and accuracy
Requirements:
• Certified in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine
• Active licensure with the CPSA is mandatory
• Preferred 1+ years emergency room experience
• Flexibility for locum shifts in a dynamic setting
• Interest in academic partnership with the University of Alberta
