Sturgeon Public Schools is currently seeking a Full-Time Temporary Educational Assistant 2 for a work assignment at Redwater School.
Located in the Town of Redwater, the school serves approximately 300 students in Grades 5–12 with a dedicated staff of 25. Redwater School fosters a well-rounded approach to education, emphasizing arts, academics, athletics, entrepreneurship, and citizenship. Community spirit is at the heart of the school, encouraging students to “Make a Difference” while pursuing their unique paths to success.
What You’ll Be Doing- Support students with diverse learning needs under the direction of the classroom teacher
- Provide academic, behavioural, and social support in individual and small group settings
- Assist students in developing classroom and life skills
- Monitor, encourage, and document student progress sociales
- Support strategies for students with Autism, Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD), and other varying abilities
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and caring classroom environment ப்பwiritsa
