Education and Experience Essential Preferred Education Bachelor of Education degree or equivalent
Valid Alberta teaching certificate
Experience
Work experience or pre-service experience within a school environment
Relevant Skills or Attributes Classroom Management Skills Experience delivering lessons using Direct (Explicit) Instruction X Understanding and appreciation of Calgary Classical Academy's philosophy
Lesson planning and design Familiarity with the new Alberta Programs of Study General content knowledge X Specialized content knowledge or training (e.g. in math, history, languages, physical education, etc.)Ability to take initiative and works independently
Strong organizational skills
