Job Overview

St.Thomas Aquinas Catholic Schools invites applications for a temporary full-time teaching position at Holy Trinity Academy in Drayton Valley, Alberta. This position will begin immediately and end May 11, 2026 with the possibility of an extension.

HTA is excited to offer new and experienced a full-time, temporary high school Math 20-2, Math 30-3, Science 20 and Art 9 teaching position. You will be entering a positive staff, rooted in faith, who believes in the importance of fostering positive relationships with students. Ability to assist in the schools co-curricular and extra-curricular programs would be considered an asset. Possessing a certificate in Catholic Education from St.

Joseph's College is an asset.

Holy Trinity Academy offers approximately 300 students, from grades 9 to 12, a well-rounded Christ-centered education. Students are provided an opportunity to grow academically, spiritually, physically, and emotionally, through our curricular and extra-curricular programs.

The Town of Drayton Valley is located 90 minutes southwest of Edmonton, Alberta, three hours northwest of Calgary and 70 minutes from the Edmonton International Airport.

Situated overlooking the North Saskatchewan River, the town offers a wonderful array of outdoor and indoor recreational activities. The town has a diversified economy including oil and gas, forestry, agriculture/ranching, environmental industries as well as trucking and construction.
