Support student learning rew's School as a Full-Time Educational Assistant for the school year. Engage with diverse learners to foster academic excellence and well-being.
St. Andrew's School in High Prairie, Alberta, is seeking a Probationary Educational Assistant to start on August 27, 2026. This full-time role focuses on aiding teachers to meet students’ individual needs. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of Indigenous culture, enhancing awareness and relationships, especially with Indigenous students.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist students with diverse learning and behavioral challenges
• Support health needs and personal care for students
• Promote individualized learning through tutorial assistance
Requirements:
• Grade 12 Diploma essential
• Teacher Assistant Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Strong communication and plan adherence skills
• Proficient in technology usage
• Valid Criminal Record Check needed
