Position: Drayton Valley Full-Time Education Assistant
Location: Drayton Valley

St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Schools is seeking a full-time Educational Assistant hony School in Drayton Valley, Alberta, effective immediately. Ideal candidates will engage with students who have exceptional needs and medical requirements.

This role is perfect for individuals with a background in elementary education who are eager to contribute to student success. Employment is contingent upon passing recent criminal record and intervention checks. While Catholicity is appreciated, it is not a prerequisite for candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Aid in the educational development of students

• Support students with unique abilities or medical conditions

• Collaborate with educators to enhance learning experiences

• Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere

• Coordinate with parents for student progress updates

Requirements:

• Experience with elementary aged students required

• Understanding of exceptional educational needs

• Recent Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check

• Valid Alberta Children's Intervention Record Check necessary

• Catholicity is a plus but not a requirement
