Location: Leduc
Make a meaningful impact as a full-time Itinerant Teacher for Blind or Visually Impaired students in Labrador. Starting September 8, 2026, this role involves direct and virtual services for student success.
You will report to the Director of Student Services, ensuring educational achievement for students with visual impairments. This position requires an on-site presence at multiple schools, blending both direct services and virtual engagement based on student needs. Your expertise in delivering tailored instruction will be essential in navigating diverse learning environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support students who are blind or visually impaired
• Provide both direct and virtual educational services
• Create and assess individualized learning programs
• Collaborate with team members and community partners
• Document and maintain student records accurately
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Education and NL Teaching Certificate
• Master’s in Educational Psychology for BVI
• Familiarity with Braille code and assistive technology
• Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset
• Valid Driver’s License for travel
