Position Overview
St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Schools invites applications for a temporary full‑time Grade 2 teaching position hony School in Drayton Valley, Alberta. The position will begin August 26, 2026 and end June 30, 2027.
Key Responsibilities- Teach Grade 2 students in a full‑time capacity.
- Assist in the school's co‑curricular and extra‑curricular programs.
- Certificate in Catholic Education from St. Joseph’s College (asset).
- Ability to work for 10 consecutive months in Drayton Valley to qualify for Student Loan Forgiveness, up to $30,000 over five years.
Applicants must submit a resume with two reference letters; a pastoral reference is an asset but not required. A current (within 6 months) Criminal Record Check inclusive of a vulnerable sector check and a current Alberta Children’s Services Intervention Record Check are required.
