Become a part-time Library Technician I with Parkland School Division at Muir Lake School, Stony Plain, Alberta. Support students and enhance learning through innovative library services.

In this permanent part-time role, you will oversee circulation, manage budgets, and foster a creative environment. With 12.5 hours per week, you will support literacy and research in both digital and print formats. Building relationships with students and staff is essential in providing mentorship and maintaining an organized library space.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage circulation, ordering, and classification of library materials

• Maintain a budget for the Learning Commons

• Promote library services through community campaigns

• Support students with research and literacy in a digital and print environment

• Collaborate effectively with teachers and staff for student learning

Requirements:

• High School Diploma is required

• Three to five years of related experience preferred

• Familiarity with Destiny and Google Apps is an asset

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs routinely
