Support aspiring nurses and health care aides as an Instructional Assistant at Nor Quest College in Wetaskiwin. Engage with students in an innovative lab-based learning environment.
As a casual Instructional Assistant, you play a key role in guiding students in their Practical Nurse and Health Care Aide programs. Your tasks will include aiding in lab activities, organizing resources, and maintaining student engagement. This role requires a passion for education and the ability to adapt to different learning styles in a diverse community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate lab learning for nursing students
• Organize lab setup and resources effectively
• Maintain supportive learning conditions for students
• Supervise and assess student progress
• Work collaboratively with other educators
Requirements:
• Practical Nurse designation mandatory
• Minimum 3 years of experience in nursing or education
• Active BLS certification and unrestricted CLPNA registration
• Teaching experience beneficial
• Excellent organizational skills and communication
