This is a Term 12 position with an initial appointment of 12 months.
Location - This role is in-person at North Campus Edmonton.
The Department of Physiology and the Neuroscience and Mental Health Institute (NMHI) invite applications for a full-time, one-year renewable Academic Teaching Staff (ATS) position in Neuroscience, focused on the delivery of the NMHI Neuroscience program.
The teaching load is commensurate with guidelines set out in the ATS agreement and will be equivalent to 6-credit courses per year.
This appointment requires a Ph.D. degree in any discipline with a focus in Neuroscience and extensive experience/knowledge in the latest advancements in neuroscience research. Preference will be given to candidates with relevant experience in teaching neuroscience, laboratory protocols and methodologies
In addition to teaching responsibilities, the successful candidate will contribute to course coordination and curriculum development/revision. This may include the development of courses in areas such as developmental neuroscience, molecular neurobiology, and neuroscience-focused laboratory instruction.
