Echo Pond is on the lookout for an engaging and knowledgeable Environmental Educator to facilitate immersive field trips. You will guide activities like orienteering and campfires, aiming to instill awareness of ecological and sustainability themes. This role is particularly attractive for those who enjoy the outdoors and inspiring young minds.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver hands-on educational activities during overnight trips
• Work in collaboration with the Education Director and team
• Cultivate an engaging environment for student curiosity
Requirements:
• Degree/diploma in Environmental Studies, Education, or equivalent
• Strong interest or experience in child education
• Comfortable working in outdoor and wilderness environments
• Basic understanding of environmental issues
• Valid First Aid and a Criminal Record Check
