Hours Per Day: 8 hours (7 paid working hours per day, plus a 1 hour unpaid lunch break)

Rate of Pay: $20 per hour

Job Description:

The Educational Partnership Foundation (TEPF) is seeking a motivated and organized individual to support our Edmonton Trades Careers team during the summer program season. This role will assist with program coordination, student engagement, event preparation, and supporting skilled trades training programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support preparation and set up for student events, including delivery of materials and venue preparation.
  • Assist with data collection, document preparation and file organization.
  • Coordinate communication with students, schools, training centres, and community partners.
  • Assist with program promotion, outreach, and recruitment activities.
  • Capture digital content for promotional and marketing purposes.
  • Accompany Trades Careers staff at training centre locations.
  • Assist with gathering student testimonials, success stories, and program highlights.
  • Create and support social media content and marketing materials.
  • Support the Trades Careers team with general duties as required.
Qualifications
  • Solid communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office, Excel, Canva, social media platforms, and basic photography skills is considered an asset.
  • Interest in education, skilled trades, youth programming, or nonprofit work is considered an asset.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle are considered assets.
  • This position is offered as part of the Canada Summer Jobs program and applicants must be between the ages of 16 and 30 and be legally entitled to work in Alberta.
