This role supports students with hands-on instruction in woodworking, metalworking, and digital tools. Working closely with faculty and technical staff, you'll help guide projects, oversee workshop operations, and ensure safety standards are met. Your expertise in conventional and digital fabrication will play a key role in this dynamic educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide hands-on instruction in design and fabrication techniques
• Manage daily operations of the Industrial Design Studio Workshop
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and training protocols
• Supervise workspace cleanliness and tool maintenance
• Facilitate inventory management and equipment purchasing
Requirements:
• BDes or equivalent in a related field
• Extensive experience in physical and digital fabrication
• Proven expertise in advanced woodworking and machining
• Proficient with design software like Rhino 3D and Adobe Suite
• Strong organizational skills under academic deadlines
