Join the Neuroscience and Mental Health Institute at North Campus Edmonton as a full-time Academic Teaching Staff focused on innovative neuroscience education. Lead classroom experiences and curriculum advancements for eager students.
In this 12-month term position, you will engage in teaching six-credit courses in Neuroscience and take part in course coordination and curriculum development within the NMHI framework. The ideal candidate will hold a Ph.D. in Neuroscience, along with substantial teaching experience and proficiency in contemporary neuroscience research methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach and manage six-credit Neuroscience courses annually
• Oversee course coordination and curriculum updates
• Design courses in areas like molecular neurobiology
• Facilitate neuroscience laboratory instruction for students
• Incorporate current research into teaching practices
Requirements:
• A Ph.D. in Neuroscience or a related discipline
• Extensive experience in teaching Neuroscience
• Knowledge of laboratory protocols and techniques
• Experience in curriculum development
