Position: Welding Instructor for NAIT Program

As a pivotal part of NAIT’s welding program, you will utilize your extensive knowledge to prepare learning outcomes, manage practical assignments, and assess students to provide constructive feedback. Your interpersonal skills will foster positive relationships with diverse learners while employing technology for effective communication and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and present engaging learning activities

• Organize and supervise practical welding assignments

• Facilitate effective instructional strategies for student engagement

• Evaluate student learning and provide impactful feedback

• Continuously improve instruction through professional development

Requirements:

• High School Diploma;
Alberta Journeyperson certificate

• Minimum 5 years of relevant welding industry experience

• Teaching experience preferred, flexible schedule required

• Proficiency in welding theory and processes

• Strong commitment to student success and communication
