The Parkland School Division (PSD) is inviting applications for its Independent Contractor list, focusing on psychology with a psycho-educational assessment emphasis. As a contractor, you will be responsible for administering assessments, interpreting results, and providing targeted interventions for students with various needs. Additionally, you’ll offer consultation services and staff in-services on relevant topics, ensuring comprehensive support for students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete psycho-educational assessments with family and school debriefs

• Administer and write thorough assessments in various areas

• Provide consultation services based on assessment outcomes

• Design and deliver in-services on psychological topics

• Support staff and students as needed

Requirements:

• Registration or eligibility with the College of Alberta Psychologists

• Experience in psycho-educational assessments and interventions

• Comfort in delivering presentations and consultations

• Expertise in diverse psychological areas like Autism and Learning Disabilities

• Proven ability to work independently as a contractor
