Sturgeon Public Schools is looking for a Full-Time Temporary Teacher to join the dedicated team at Redwater School. This position entails teaching Music and Band to students in grades 5-12, alongside Junior High English Language Arts, fostering a love of learning and effective communication skills. You will implement inclusive instructional strategies tailored to the needs of all learners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Instruct students in Music and Band for grades 5-12

• Provide engaging lessons for Junior High English Language Arts

• Develop an inclusive classroom environment

• Utilize varied teaching strategies and technologies

• Build strong connections with students, families, and staff

Requirements:

• Hold a valid Alberta Teaching Certificate

• Proven experience in teaching Music and English Language Arts

• Effective classroom management skills

• Familiarity with educational technology

• Background check including Clear Criminal Record
