Director of Youth Ministry Sturgeon Valley

Sturgeon Valley Baptist Church seeks a dedicated Youth Director to lead its youth ministry, focusing on event planning and student mentorship. This part-time role emphasizes communication and administrative coordination.

As the Youth Director, you will develop engaging weekly youth programs while mentoring a leadership team. Aligning your work with the church’s mission and safety policies, you’ll provide nurturing support to the youth. A solid understanding of the church's beliefs and policies is fundamental for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create vibrant and impactful youth events weekly

• Manage communication and curriculum for the ministry

• Provide mentorship to student leaders and volunteers

• Ensure smooth administrative operations within youth ministry

• Deliver Christ-centered care adhering to safety protocols

Requirements:

• Strong theological alignment with church principles

• Certification in Abuse Prevention Plan (training provided)

• Passion for mentoring youth in a faith-based context

• Post-secondary background in youth ministry preferred

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
